Ahead of his Club debut this Saturday against the New Zealand Warriors, get to know a bit more about Wests Tigers playmaker and new recruit Jack Littlejohn.

Littlejohn joined Wests Tigers after spending two seasons with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, where he made his first-grade debut in 2014 and played a total of five NRL games.

Prior to that, Littlejohn played his junior football with the Sydney Roosters in 2010 and 2011 alongside then NYC Coach Jason Taylor — now Head Coach of Wests Tigers.

In 2012, Littlejohn featured in the Newtown Jets’ NSW Cup Grand Final win over Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers, a team which included the likes of Tim Simona and Ava Seumanufagai, whom he now joins as teammates in Wests Tigers’ first-grade squad.

Having entered the 2016 Auckland Nines competition locked in a battle with Josh Drinkwater for the vacant No. 7 jersey in Round 1 (due to Luke Brooks’ suspension), Littlejohn produced a number of strong performances to earn his selection.

Deceptively tall and strong for a playmaker, Littlejohn has developed a strong combination with Mitchell Moses in the trials in preparation for Saturday’s season opener.
