THE big fellow is heading down the aisle.

Wests Tigers, NSW and Australian prop Aaron Woods is getting married at the end of the season and says he is under pressure to get a haircut for the occasion.

Woods says he and fiancee Sarah Callaway had planned their wedding for the second weekend of October – one week after the October 2 grand final and before the Four Nations tournament in the UK.

“Sarah is doing a really good job of organising it all,” Woods tells RLW. “She managed to get the right weekend. It’s after the grand final and it’s a clear weekend before the Four Nations, so it fits in well. We got engaged last year, so we’re looking forward now to October and getting married.”

Woods has probably the wildest mane in the NRL and when he appeared at the NRL season launch in Sydney on Thursday there was no sign of it having recently been trimmed. But will he be getting it cut for his wedding day?

“The missus wants me to get a haircut because we’re getting married, but I don’t know,” he says. “We’ll have to wait and see.”
