Game Day Information: Charity Shield

The St George Illawarra Dragons will compete against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the traditional Charity Shield fixture at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Saturday.

Gates Open: 3:00pm

NYC: 3:15pm

NRL: 5:30pm

The Charity Shield commenced in 1982 and so too did the tradition of supporting local charities and causes.

In 2016, proceeds from the Charity Shield will support three charities within the Dragons Community program – the St George and Wollongong Public Hospitals in addition to the St.George Foundation.

Memebrs With Access

The following Membership packages include access to the Charity Shield: Platinum, All In, Dragons Dozen, Metro Plus, Kogarah Upgrade, Wollongong Upgrade and West Wing.

Please note:

– Members with one of the packages listed above will use their 2016 Membership card to scan in at Gate B on the Eastern side of ANZ Stadium. Gate B is different to the entry gate noted on the Membership Card.

– Gold, Silver and Bronze category Members will have access to unreserved seats in Aisles 103, 104 and 105 on Level 1.

– General Admission Members will have access to unreserved seats in Aisles 101 and 146 on Level 1.

If your membership package doesn’t include Charity Shield or you would like to purchase additional tickets, please check your email for the member pre-sale code which will give you access to discounted tickets within the Dragons Member sections listed above.

Please note that the pre sale ends on Friday, February 12.

Have Not Got Your Membership Card Yet?

No problems! We can have a paper ticket ready for you on arrival at the venue. Simply click here to register your details and collect your ticket from the Gate A/B Box Office on the Eastern side of ANZ Stadium.

The Membership window at Box Office A/B will be open from 2.40pm until 15 minutes after kick off.

Collect Your Member Benefit Item

If you are a ticketed Member and would like to collect your chosen benefit item (cap, seat cushion, gloves or kids pack) please present your redemption voucher (found on your welcome letter that comes with your membership card) at the Membership Hut at Aisle 104.

Please note that benefit items cannot be collected without a redemption voucher. The Membership Hut at Aisle 104 will be open from 3.10pm until full time.

Members Bar

2016 Red V Members attending the Charity Shield will have access to a Members Bar – a place where you can hang out before or during the match, out of the sun.

The Members Bar is located on Level 2 East and can be accessed via the lift or escalators from level 1 concourse to level 2.

Members Food & Beverage Discount

2016 Red V Members can receive up to 5% off at selected food and beverage outlets within ANZ Stadium (excludes Krispy Kreme’s). Simply show your 2016 Membership card at the check out.

Can I Buy A Membership At The Game?

Yes. Look for the Red V tent in the precinct area on the Eastern side of the venue. Membership staff will be available to help you choose and purchase a 2016 Red V Membership.

– Red V Tent, eastern precinct, 2.10pm – 5.30pm

– Membership window at Box Office A/B, 2.40pm – 5.45pm

– Membership hut at Aisle 104, 3.10pm – 7.30pm

Register Your Banner

If you are bringing a large flag or banner to the game, please register it by emailing the details to redv@dragons.com.au by Thursday, February 11 (5.00pm). This will avoid unnecessary delays at the entry gates.
