Klemmer facing stint on sidelines Written by STAFF WRITERS, February 22, 2016

BULLDOGS enforcer David Klemmer will miss the opening two rounds of the season after he was charged by the match review committee.

The Blues forward was hit with a grade two dangerous contact charge for his tackle on Storm back-rower Kevin Proctor which was deemed attacking the legs.

Klemmer will miss the matches against the Sea Eagles and the Panthers if he accepts the early guilty plea.

If he chooses to fight the charge and loses he will also miss the round three clash against the Eels.

Titans new signing Zeb Taia was the only other player charged following the weekend trials. He was hit with a grade one dangerous throw charge but for his spear tackle on Greg Inglis but will surprisingly not miss any action with the early guilty plea.
