THE NRL has been hit by another pre-season incident after Manly recruit Apisai Koroisau was charged by police.

According to Fairfax Media, the 23-year-old was charged with illegally trying to enter a Bondi property on December 20 of last year.

The matter briefly went before Waverley Local Court on January 25. Koroisau is due before the court on February 17.

Manly and the NRL Integrity Unit are aware of the matter.

“The incident follows some extenuating circumstances in Apisai‚Äôs personal life,” a Sea Eagles statement read on Monday.

“The Sea Eagles are providing Apisai with the necessary support during this time.

“The club will make no further comment.”

This incident comes after Roosters co-captain Mitchell Pearce was stood down after he was filmed performing a lewd act with a dog, while eight Queensland players were banned from Origin for a year for breaking curfew at the Emerging Origin camp.
