Major Match-Ups Round 2

Parker V Matulino

These two forwards are known as absolute workhorses and put up solid numbers last week. Parker made 34 tackles and gained 124 metres for Brisbane. Matulino was no slouch either making 113 metres and 28 tackles off the bench V Wests Tigers. The thing we know is both players are still capable of taking it up a notch, so which one will it be on Friday night?

Major Match-Ups Round 2

McCullough V Luke

Andrew McCullough is a defensive machine and Issac Luke is a master of darting runs from dummy half – this should be an interesting battle. Last week McCullough made 48 tackles and played the entire 80 minutes and you wouldn’t expect any less from the man voted the Broncos Most Consistent Player in 2015. Don’t expect Issac Luke to let McCullough get the best of him though, after all he didn’t earn the nickname ‘Bully’ for no reason.

Major Match-Ups Round 2

Milford V Johnson

Simply put these are the most exciting players on the park. Both players scored a try last week in their respective games but Shaun Johnson was statistically the better of the two setting up two tries in the Warriors miraculous second-half revival where they nearly beat the Wests Tigers. Anthony Milford nearly scored a second try V Eels last week so both players come into this came in great form and the contest between the two could really determine the outcome of the game.
