After defeating reigning champions, the Newcastle Knights, in Round 1 of the Intrust Super Premiership, the North Sydney Bears will travel to the foot of the Mountains to take on a hungry Penrith Panthers outfit.

The Panthers will be going in search of their first win of the new season on Saturday, having gone down to Mounties by a slim 26-24 margin in their season opener.

The Steve Georgallis coached Panthers recruited well over the off-season and will feature a number of new faces in their side this weekend, with the likes of hooker, Zach Docker-Clay, five-eighth Te Maire Martin and prop Viliami Kikau all set to play their part for the team.

North Sydney meanwhile will be looking to build on their Round 1 effort – a match that saw the likes of Eli Levido and skipper Ed Murphy take control for the red and black’s – Murphy making the NSWRLs Team of the Week on the back of his performance.
