THE RABBITOHS have paid a costly price for their big win over the Roosters after scans have revealed lock John Sutton has sustained a torn pectoral muscle.

As a result the injury will sideline the premiership winning captain for four months.

Sutton sustained the injury in the 78th minute of the clash at Allianz Stadium attempting to make a tackle.

The news could get even worse with strong reports suggesting halfback Adam Reynolds has suffered a broken jaw.

Reynolds has gone for scans on Monday morning and will receive the results later in the afternoon.

Captain Greg Inglis is also under an injury cloud after he suffered a blow to his knee while attempting to knock a ball dead.

Inglis was confident he would be fine for next weekend’s clash with the Knights but will have to pass a fitness test later in the week.
