What do you like to do away from football?

Away from football I like to hang out with friends and relax.

What was your first job?

My first job was steel fixing back home in New Plymouth.

What are your goals in Rugby League?

My main goals in Rugby league would be to put on a bit more weight and get a chance to play NRL.

What do you love about Rugby League?

The thing I love most about rugby league is the contact and collisions.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

My biggest influence would be my my father and eldest brother, they have always supported my dream of being an NRL player.

What is your earliest league memory?

My earliest memory in Rugby League is having a chocolate bar before every game.

What is your best moment in league so far?

My best memory in rugby league was getting the opportunity to represent New Zealand in their U18’s resident team.

Best piece of advice you have been given?

To be the best you have to beat the best.

What advice would you give to a young rugby league player?

Always train hard.

Who is the player you looked up to as a kid and why?

The player I most looked up to is Sonny Bill Williams, I love the way he hits.

Favourite sportsman and why?

My favourite sportsman would have to be Sonny Bill Williams, he has done things that no one could do in multiple codes.

What can’t you live without?

I think the things that I absolutely cannot live without would be my family first and probably bed!

What is the TV show you never miss?

The TV show I can’t miss is Dragon ball Z.

What is on your bucket list?

I think sky diving would be right up there on my list, bring it on.

If you could play another sport, what would it be?

I would love to be a professional Tennis player.

If you weren’t playing league, what would you be doing?

If I wasn’t playing league I would be completing an apprenticeship in carpentry.

How would you like to be remembered at the end of your career?

I would love to be remembered as a humble guy with good intentions.
