Knights forward Ese’ese charged by judiciary
Newcastle Knights forward Herman Ese’ese has been charged by the NRL judiciary for an incident in the loss to the Parramatta Eels on Saturday night.
Ese’ese, who joined the Knights in the off-season from the Brisbane Broncos, was slapped with a grade-one dangerous contact charge for a late hit on Eels halfback Mitchell Moses at Maitland.
He will not miss any matches if he enters an early guilty plea but could be banned for the Telstra Premiership opening-round clash with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles if he unsuccessfully challenges the charge.
