Melbourne Storm has named two changes to its team to take on the Gold Coast Titans at AAMI Park tonight at 6.30pm.

Australian Schoolboy Curtis Scott will become the 170th Storm player to make his debut when he pulls on the purple jersey for the first time. The 18-year old joined the Club in November from Cronulla’s SG Ball side where he captained the team. Scott played in Storm’s Auckland Nines team as well as two trials against Wests Tigers and the Bulldogs.

Fullback Billy Slater is a late withdrawal for tonight’s game due to a shoulder injury. The injury is on the same shoulder that saw him miss the second half of the 2015 season.

Following last Monday night’s game against the Dragons, Slater pulled up sore and was sent for scans on his left shoulder. As a result, he will undergo an arthroscope this week to determine the extent of the damage.

The Club will have further information after the surgery and will only communicate further details once they are known. The Club will not speculate on a possible time of return to the field.

Ben Hampton will play his first game of the season, starting on the interchange in place of Christian Welch. Hampton was man of the match for Storm’s feeder team Sunshine Coast Falcons last week.

Craig Bellamy has stuck with the 17-man squad that saw the Club make a winning start to season 2016 with an 18-16 win over the Dragons on Monday night.
