Manu Vatuvei is one of six players called into the Warriors side to face the Broncos in Round 13 this Saturday afternoon, with strong form from the club's Intrust Super Premiership side forcing coach Andrew McFadden's hand.

Centre Solomone Kata returns from a one-game suspension while Nathaniel Roache, Albert Vete, Charlie Gubb and Ligi Sao have all earned a recall after solid performances in Reserve Grade.

McFadden was pleased to be able to bring experience back into his NRL 17 as they prepare to host the 3rd-placed Broncos on Saturday afternoon at Auckland's Mount Smart Stadium.

"It’s terrific knowing Manu is ready to play again," McFadden said.

"His presence alone means so much to the team and what he brings with his effort is critical to our performance."

Jonathan Wright, Matt Allwood, Jazz Tevaga, John Palavi, James Gavet and 18th man Toafofoa Sipley have all dropped out of the squad.
