Youth Summit Presentation Day

Gold Coast Titans NRL

Holly Summers, Zayden Thompson, Zoe McConville and Ngapuarata Matoe were nominated and selected to represent the TFH Gold Coast Titans at the summit based on their demonstration in leadership and involvement within their schools and communities, commitment to their studies and achieving high school attendance.

The Youth Summit enables participants to interact with young leaders from other NRL clubs through a series of workshops, activities and discussions and help them continue to develop skills that will allow them to become stronger leaders within their communities.

The NRL School to Work Program is an international award winning education and employment program that is supported by the TFH Gold Coast Titans and the Australian Federal Government. The program utilises the positive profile of the game of Rugby League to support and encourage Year 11 & 12 Indigenous students to complete their schooling and successfully transition into further education or employment.

The students were special guests at the Titans training session this morning where players Ryan James, Ash Taylor and ex Gold Coast Titans player Preston Campbell presented each student with a club polo for them to wear on arrival to camp.
